Kariba 3 1/2 years old - 5 months pregnant
Kariba is undoubtedly one of the country's outstanding bred mares with an extremely diverse gene pool. She combines the very best lines from, Trakehner, Oldenburg and Hanoverian.
Kaiserkult, her sire was world dressage champion at the age of 6. The following year, his full brother Kaiserdom was also world champion. This is unique in the history of the World federation of Sport horses and is an extreme endorsement of a world class genetically proven lineage. At the age of 11 (young for a Grand Prix horse), Kaiserkult won his first two Grand Prix's in Munich in late 2009.
Kariba's dam's sire, Rubin Royal, was Supreme Champion of Oldenburg in 2001. The professional press described him as the complete "Stallion of Stallions". Rubin Royal's sire Rhodiament is in the top 5 of the worlds best dressage sires (WBFSH). Weltmeyer, Kariba's grand-dam's sire, is nothing short of a legend in the Hanoverian breeding program. As the AHS put it "Weltmeyer continues to almost single handedly reshape the Hanoverian breed". He has over 70 licensed sons.
Kariba's pedigree is filled with State Premium mares and contains many Elite Status mares - the highest accolade a mare in Germany can attain.
